Privacy Policy
This page explains what we collect when you use this website, what we do with it, and how to have it deleted. It is written in plain language. If something is unclear, write to povgroupinc@gmail.com.
What we collect
The files you upload: photos and PDFs of your documents. They contain whatever the document contains, usually names, dates of birth, addresses and identification numbers.
Your email address, your name and, if you give it, your phone number. Notes you write for the translator, such as the passport spelling of a name. The order details: document type, language, page count, delivery date and payment status.
Card details are entered on our payment provider's page and are not stored on our server. We receive a confirmation that the payment went through, not the card number.
Why we collect it
To translate your document, which means reading it in full. To spell names the way your passport spells them. To send you the one-time login code, the quote and notices about your order. To take payment and issue a receipt.
We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell it, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
Where it is stored
Files and order details are stored on our own server. Access is limited to the people working on your order.
Translations are delivered inside your account on this website. We do not send documents by email, because email is not a safe place for a passport or a birth certificate.
How long we keep it
Files are deleted 90 days after the order is closed. If you want them deleted sooner, write to us or send a message from your account and it is done.
Your account details, meaning your email, name and order history without the files, stay so you can download receipts and reorder. Ask and they are deleted as well, unless a law requires us to keep a record of the payment.
Who sees it
Nobody outside the work on your order. We do not share your files or your details with other companies, except the payment provider that processes your card and the email service that delivers your login code and notices.
If a court order requires disclosure, we comply and, where the law allows, tell you.
Cookies
The site uses two kinds of cookies. One keeps your order draft while you go through the steps, so an unfinished order is not lost when you refresh the page. The other keeps you signed in after you enter the one-time code.
No advertising cookies are set by this site.
Your rights in California
If you live in California, you have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to ask for a copy, to have it corrected, and to have it deleted. You also have the right not to be treated differently for using these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in the California Consumer Privacy Act.
To use any of these rights, write to povgroupinc@gmail.com from the email address on your account. We answer within the time the law allows and confirm what was done.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, the new text is posted on this page with its effective date. Orders placed earlier are covered by the text that was in force when you placed them.
Draft for attorney review
This policy is a draft prepared on September 26, 2026. It has not yet been reviewed by a California attorney. Before it is published as final, the retention period, the names of the payment and email providers, and the CCPA wording should be checked by counsel.
