Immigration court filing fees adjusted for inflation from October 1, 2026
The Department of Justice updated the fees for filings with the immigration courts and the Board of Immigration Appeals, as the H.R. 1 law requires each year.
The Department of Justice published a final rule with the fiscal year 2027 inflation adjustment for fees paid on filings with the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR), the agency that runs the immigration courts. The rule is effective October 1, 2026.
A separate notice published on September 29, 2026 applies the same yearly adjustment to certain DHS forms that are filed with EOIR. The current amounts are in the EOIR fee tables.
