Russian internal passport translation, certified for USCIS
The Russian internal passport is a small booklet where each page has a job: registration, military duty, marital status, children, previously issued passports. We translate the pages that are filled in and count only those.

Order NowRussian internal passport, line by line: what the reviewer compares
The data page is on pages two and three, the registration stamps start at page five, marital status is on pages fourteen and fifteen, and children are recorded after that. Officers know this layout and expect the translation to follow it.
Propiska stamps with addresses
Every registration and deregistration stamp is translated with the full address and date. Street names are transliterated, not translated, so they can be matched to your address history.
Patronymic and spelling
The name keeps its patronymic and is spelled as in your foreign passport. The issuing authority code is kept as printed.
Marital status and military duty
Stamps from ZAGS about marriage and divorce and the military registration stamp are translated word for word.
Page numbers preserved
The translation labels each page with its number in the booklet, so a reviewer can find the same stamp in the original.
Passport booklet or registration certificate, what proves your address
The Russian internal passport records permanent registration inside the booklet, while a stay at another address or a child's registration is confirmed on a separate certificate. USCIS address history may need both.
Internal passport booklet
The document itself- A dark red booklet with the Russian coat of arms, a laminated photo page and twenty numbered pages
- Name with patronymic, date and place of birth, the issuing unit with its code, registration stamps with addresses, military duty, marital status, children and previously issued passports
- The data page and every page with a stamp or an entry, each labeled with its page number; blank pages listed as blank
- Asked for by USCIS in adjustment of status and family petitions to check addresses, marriages and children
Send every page including blank ones, open flat, as one set of photos.
Registration certificate (form 3 or 8)
Address proof on paper- A separate form from the migration unit of MVD with a stamp and signature: form 8 for a child's permanent address, form 3 for a temporary stay
- Name, date of birth, the address, the period of registration and the issuing unit; a PDF from Gosuslugi carries an electronic signature block
- The whole form including the stamp, the signature and, on a PDF, the electronic signature block
- Asked for when the booklet has no stamp for the address on your forms, or for a child who has no passport yet
Send the certificate as its own page; if it came from Gosuslugi, send the PDF itself rather than a screenshot.
Twenty pages, each one accounted for
Dates in every stamp
Registration, deregistration, marriage and military stamps each carry a date. All are converted to the US format with the original kept, so the address and family timeline reads correctly.
Unit codes spelled out
The issuing unit code on the data page and the abbreviations in the military and registration stamps are spelled out and translated.
Cancelled and corrected stamps
A stamp crossed out by the office or a corrected entry is translated and marked as cancelled or corrected, so the page reads as the original does.
Previously issued passports page
The page listing earlier internal and foreign passports, with their numbers and dates, is translated in full because it links this booklet to your other documents.
One translation, accepted where you need to file
The same certified file works for immigration, courts, universities and employers. Say who it is for when you order and the certificate is worded for that office.
USCIS
Green card, citizenship and asylum filings. Certification statement on every page set.
Immigration courts
Same certified translation, laid out page by page so the clerk can compare it with the original.
Universities and WES / ECE
Admissions offices and credential evaluators get the certified English file with the original attached.
Employers and licensing boards
HR departments get the translation with the certificate, ready to attach to an application.

Price My DocumentRussian internal passport, the questions we hear most
Will USCIS accept this translation?
It follows what USCIS asks for: the whole document in English plus a signed statement that the translator is competent and the translation is complete and accurate. Every order includes that statement, signed and dated by the translator.
Do I need to translate the page about previously issued passports?
If it carries an entry, yes. It links your internal passport to earlier foreign passports and to a name change, which is exactly what an officer may be checking.
The registration stamps are faded. What happens then?
Whatever is legible is translated, and unreadable fragments are marked as such. We do not guess an address; if a stamp is critical, we ask you for a better photo first.
Is the internal passport enough as an ID for USCIS?
It is a supporting document, not a travel document. Most filings use the foreign passport for identity and the internal passport for address and family history.
How much does it cost and how fast is it?
From $23.70 per document, certification included. A one-page document is usually ready the next business day; the date is confirmed before you pay.
Twenty document types, two languages
Each document and each language has its own page with its own specifics and price. Something else? Upload it and we quote it by hand.
