Russian work record book translation, certified and page by page
Soviet-era books, the 2004 Russian form, inserts and the electronic record printed as an STD-R or STD-PFR form all count as a work record. Each is translated entry by entry, with order numbers, stamps and the labor code articles cited for each dismissal.

Order NowWhat gets checked in a Russian work record book: names, dates, stamps
Entries cite articles of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation or, for older records, the Soviet labor code, and each is stamped by the employer. The abbreviations of legal forms (OOO, ZAO, PAO) identify the company and stay in the translation.
Entries with legal grounds
Dismissal entries citing, for example, point 3 of part 1 of article 77 of the Labor Code are translated in full, so the reader sees the ground for leaving.
Employer stamps and order numbers
The stamp text, the order number and the order date are translated or described for every entry.
Soviet and modern forms
The 1974 Soviet book, the 2004 Russian form and inserts have different columns; the translation mirrors each.
Electronic records too
STD-R and STD-PFR printouts from the employer or the Pension Fund are translated as the same document, page by page.
Paper book or STD-R printout, which do you have
Since 2020 Russian employers may keep the record electronically, so many people hold a paper book that stops at some date and an STD-R or STD-SFR printout that continues it. Both are translated by the filled page.
Paper work record book
Soviet or 2004 form- A hard-cover booklet in the 1974 Soviet form or the 2004 Russian form, sometimes with an insert
- Numbered entries citing the Labor Code article, order numbers and dates, with a round stamp under each dismissal
- Every filled spread is translated in table form, stamps and awards section included
- Asked for by USCIS in employment-based cases and by boards or employers verifying experience
Send photos of every spread, the cover page and the insert; the count is confirmed before you pay.
STD-R or STD-SFR printout
Electronic record printout- A printed table issued by the employer (STD-R) or by the Social Fund through Gosuslugi (STD-SFR, formerly STD-PFR)
- The same hire, transfer and dismissal events with dates, order numbers and Labor Code articles, but no stamps
- Each row is translated in place with the signature block or the electronic signature note
- Asked for when the paper book ends before your current job or was never issued
Send the PDF downloaded from Gosuslugi or received from the employer, not a photo of it.
The whole book, cover to awards page
Cover page details
The cover page with your name, date of birth, education and profession is translated, and a corrected surname on the cover is described so the book matches your passport.
Handwriting from several clerks
Entries written by different hands over many years are translated as written; corrections marked as invalid are translated so the reader sees why.
Dates in the US format
Every hire, transfer and dismissal date is converted to month-day-year and stays in its row.
Insert counted as part of the book
An insert stapled into the book continues the numbering; its pages are translated and counted the same way, and the note about the insert on the cover is included.
One translation, accepted where you need to file
The same certified file works for immigration, courts, universities and employers. Say who it is for when you order and the certificate is worded for that office.
USCIS
Green card, citizenship and asylum filings. Certification statement on every page set.
Immigration courts
Same certified translation, laid out page by page so the clerk can compare it with the original.
Universities and WES / ECE
Admissions offices and credential evaluators get the certified English file with the original attached.
Employers and licensing boards
HR departments get the translation with the certificate, ready to attach to an application.

Price My DocumentRussian work record book, the questions we hear most
My book has entries from the Soviet period in another republic. Is it still a Russian document?
The source language is Russian, and the entries are translated as printed, naming the republic and employer as written.
How do you translate job titles?
Literally, with the original kept in brackets when the title has no direct English equivalent. Titles are not upgraded or downgraded.
Do you translate the awards section at the back?
Yes, if it carries entries; awards and bonuses are part of the record and are counted as filled pages.
Will USCIS accept this translation?
It follows what USCIS asks for: the whole document in English plus a signed statement that the translator is competent and the translation is complete and accurate. Every order includes that statement, signed and dated by the translator.
How much does it cost and how fast is it?
From $23.70 per document, certification included. A book with six filled spreads is usually ready in two to three business days; the price is shown right after upload and the date is confirmed before you pay.
Twenty document types, two languages
Each document and each language has its own page with its own specifics and price. Something else? Upload it and we quote it by hand.
