Ukrainian employment letter translation, certified for USCIS and employers
A Ukrainian employment certificate carries the EDRPOU code of the company, the position, the period of employment and the salary in hryvnias. Since 2017 a company stamp is optional, so many letters come without one, and the translation notes that.

Order NowUkrainian employment letter, line by line: what the reviewer compares
Ukrainian letters are issued on letterhead with a registration number and date, sometimes with a QR code or an electronic signature. Sole proprietors issue letters too, and their letters look different from those of a company.
Letterhead and EDRPOU code
The company name, its legal form (TOV, PrAT, FOP) and the EDRPOU code are translated or kept as identifiers.
Position and period
The job title and the employment period are translated literally, with dates in the US format.
Salary in hryvnias
Amounts stay in hryvnias, with any note on tax translated as printed.
Stamp or no stamp
If the letter has no stamp, the translation says so; if it has an electronic signature block, that block is translated.
Employer's certificate or income certificate, which one is yours
A Ukrainian employer can issue a certificate from the place of work on letterhead, or an income certificate showing your pay by month; the tax service and the Pension Fund also issue income records. Each is translated in full.
Certificate from the place of work
Letterhead, EDRPOU code- One page on letterhead with the EDRPOU code, a registration number and date, a signature and a stamp or no stamp
- Position, employment period, salary in hryvnias and sometimes duties or the purpose of the certificate
- Letterhead, body, signature block and stamp or e-signature are translated; amounts stay in hryvnias
- Asked for by USCIS in work petitions, by consulates and for sponsor files
Send a scan or a straight-on photo of the whole page.
Income certificate
Pay by month- A table on letterhead from the employer, or a printout from the tax service e-cabinet or the Pension Fund portal with a QR code
- Income by month, tax and contributions withheld, the employer's EDRPOU code and your tax number
- Every row, header and code is translated; amounts and identifiers stay as printed
- Asked for by consulates for visa proofs and by offices that check income rather than position
Send the PDF as downloaded, or a scan of the paper table.
The whole certificate, nothing left as a picture
Layout mirrored
Header, body, signature block and footer sit where they are in the original, so the reader can compare line by line.
Signatory named
The name and title of the director, HR officer or sole proprietor who signed are translated, spelled from the Ukrainian text.
Handwritten additions
A handwritten registration number, date or note is translated and marked as handwritten.
Duties and purpose
When the certificate lists duties or states where it is to be presented, that text is translated literally and in order.
One translation, accepted where you need to file
The same certified file works for immigration, courts, universities and employers. Say who it is for when you order and the certificate is worded for that office.
USCIS
Green card, citizenship and asylum filings. Certification statement on every page set.
Immigration courts
Same certified translation, laid out page by page so the clerk can compare it with the original.
Universities and WES / ECE
Admissions offices and credential evaluators get the certified English file with the original attached.
Employers and licensing boards
HR departments get the translation with the certificate, ready to attach to an application.

Price My DocumentUkrainian employment letter, the questions we hear most
The letter has no stamp. Is that normal?
Ukrainian companies have not been required to use a stamp since 2017, and the translation notes its absence. Whether an office wants one anyway is its own rule.
My employer is a sole proprietor. Is the letter treated differently?
No. A letter from a sole proprietor (FOP) is translated the same way, with the proprietor's registration details kept.
Can you translate a letter written in Russian by a Ukrainian company?
Yes. The source language is noted, and the price and format are the same.
Will USCIS accept this translation?
It follows what USCIS asks for: the whole document in English plus a signed statement that the translator is competent and the translation is complete and accurate. Every order includes that statement, signed and dated by the translator.
How much does it cost and how fast is it?
From $23.70 per document, certification included. A one-page document is usually ready the next business day; the date is confirmed before you pay.
Twenty document types, two languages
Each document and each language has its own page with its own specifics and price. Something else? Upload it and we quote it by hand.
