Employment letter translation, certified for USCIS and employers
An employment letter confirms your position, dates and salary, and it is asked for in work-based petitions, experience verification and sponsor cases. It is translated in full, letterhead to stamp, with a signed certificate of accuracy.

Order NowLetterhead, position, salary, stamp
The letter is short, but its parts are what the reader checks: who issued it, on what date, under what reference number, what the job title was and what the salary is. Each is translated as printed.
Job title literal
Titles are translated word for word, with the original in brackets when there is no direct equivalent. A title is not upgraded to match a US role.
Dates and reference numbers
The letter date, the outgoing number and the employment period are converted to the US format and kept visible.
Salary in the original currency
Amounts stay in rubles or hryvnias with the currency named. No conversion to dollars is made or implied.
Letterhead and stamp
The company details from the letterhead, the registration numbers and the stamp are translated or described.
HR letter or income certificate, which do you need translated
Two documents are commonly called an employment letter: a letter from the employer confirming your position and salary, and an official income certificate on a tax form. They look different, and both are translated in full.
Employment letter from HR
Most common request- One page on company letterhead with a date, an outgoing number, a signature and usually a stamp
- Your position, the start date, the salary and sometimes duties or the reason the letter was issued
- The letterhead, the body, the signature block and the stamp are translated
- Asked for by USCIS in work petitions and sponsor cases, by consulates and by new employers
Send a scan or photo of the whole page, letterhead and stamp included.
Income certificate on a tax form
Numbers by month- A printed form in table layout, from the employer or downloaded from a tax portal with an electronic signature
- Monthly income by code, tax withheld, the employer's registration numbers and your tax ID
- Every cell, header and code is translated; amounts stay in the original currency
- Asked for by consulates for visa proofs and by offices checking income rather than position
Send the original PDF or a straight-on scan so the table stays readable.
The whole page, not only the salary line
Same layout as the original
Header, body, signature block and footer sit where they do in the original, so a reader can hold the two pages side by side.
Signatory's name and title
The name and title of the person who signed, and the accountant's line if there is one, are translated so the reader knows who vouched for the letter.
Handwritten dates and remarks
A handwritten outgoing number, date or note added by the office is translated and marked as handwritten.
Duties, if listed
When the letter lists duties, each is translated literally in the same order, because that list is what an experience letter is read for.
One translation, accepted where you need to file
The same certified file works for immigration, courts, universities and employers. Say who it is for when you order and the certificate is worded for that office.
USCIS
Green card, citizenship and asylum filings. Certification statement on every page set.
Immigration courts
Same certified translation, laid out page by page so the clerk can compare it with the original.
Universities and WES / ECE
Admissions offices and credential evaluators get the certified English file with the original attached.
Employers and licensing boards
HR departments get the translation with the certificate, ready to attach to an application.

Names and dates are checked

Delivered as one PDF
Translation, signed certificate and a copy of the original in one file, in your account.

The price is based on word count. A certificate, passport or letter is usually the minimum. You see the exact price and delivery date right after upload, before you pay, and it does not change afterwards.
Price My DocumentEmployment letter translation, the questions we hear most
Can this be used as an experience letter for a work petition?
It is a certified translation of what the employer wrote; if the letter lists duties and dates, those are in the translation. What the letter must contain is set by the petition, so check that before asking the employer.
Do you translate the letterhead and the registration numbers?
Yes. The company name, address, registration numbers and the stamp are translated or described, because they show who issued the letter.
The letter has no stamp. Is that a problem?
Not for the translation; we translate what is there and note that there is no stamp. Some offices want a stamped letter, so ask the office first.
Will USCIS accept this translation?
It follows what USCIS asks for: the whole document in English plus a signed statement that the translator is competent and the translation is complete and accurate. Every order includes that statement, signed and dated by the translator.
How much does it cost and how fast is it?
From $23.70 per document, certification included. A one-page document is usually ready the next business day; the date is confirmed before you pay.
Twenty document types, two languages
Each document and each language has its own page with its own specifics and price. Something else? Upload it and we quote it by hand.
