Passport translation, certified for USCIS
A foreign passport is bilingual on the data page, but the visas, border stamps and handwritten notes are not. We translate the pages that carry text, count only those pages, and deliver a signed certificate of accuracy in the same PDF.

Order NowWhich pages matter, and which do not
USCIS wants every foreign-language page you submit to be translated, and blank pages do not need to be submitted at all. The trick is knowing which pages carry information the officer will read.
The data page first
Name, date and place of birth, passport number, issue and expiry dates and the issuing authority. The Latin spelling on this page is the spelling we use for you everywhere.
Visas and border stamps
Entry and exit stamps, visa stickers and their annotations are translated with dates in the US format, so travel history can be checked against your forms.
Notes about children and name changes
Older passports list children or a former surname on inside pages. Those entries are translated because they connect to birth and marriage certificates.
Nothing added, nothing dropped
Handwritten notes, cancelled pages and corrections are translated or described. Blank pages are simply listed as blank, not charged.
Travel passport or internal document, different pages, different purpose
Two documents share the word passport. The foreign one is for travel and carries visas and stamps; the internal one records address, marriage and children at home, and USCIS may ask for either or both.
Foreign (travel) passport
Visas and border stamps- A booklet with a bilingual data page, a photo, a machine-readable zone and visa pages with stamps
- Name in Latin letters, date and place of birth, passport number, issue and expiry dates, the issuing authority, then visas, stamps and notes
- The data page and every page with a stamp, sticker or handwritten entry; blank pages are listed as blank and not charged
- Asked for by USCIS, consulates, employers, banks and the DMV whenever identity or travel history is checked
Send every page including blank ones as one set of flat photos, so the file can state which pages were empty.
Internal passport or ID card
Address and family pages- A small booklet in the national language only, or a plastic card with a separate registration extract
- Name, date and place of birth, the issuing authority, then registration stamps with addresses, marriage and divorce stamps, children and military duty
- The data page and every page with an entry; the registration stamps are the part USCIS uses for address history
- Asked for in adjustment of status and family petitions to check the address and family history on the forms
This document has its own page on this site; send it as a separate order and we count only the pages with entries.
Every filled page, counted and translated
Stamps that overlap
Border stamps are often stamped over each other or at an angle. Each is read separately, with its country, checkpoint, date and direction, and an unreadable one is marked as such.
Page numbers in the file
Each translated page is labeled with its page number in the passport, and blank pages are listed by number, so a reviewer can see nothing was skipped.
Dates on every stamp
A stamp carries a date in the format of the country that made it. Each is converted to the US month-first format with the original kept, so an entry and exit pair reads correctly.
Issuing authority and its code
The authority on the data page is often an abbreviation or a numeric code. It is spelled out and translated, so the reviewer knows which office issued the passport.
One translation, accepted where you need to file
The same certified file works for immigration, courts, universities and employers. Say who it is for when you order and the certificate is worded for that office.
USCIS
Green card, citizenship and asylum filings. Certification statement on every page set.
Immigration courts
Same certified translation, laid out page by page so the clerk can compare it with the original.
Universities and WES / ECE
Admissions offices and credential evaluators get the certified English file with the original attached.
Employers and licensing boards
HR departments get the translation with the certificate, ready to attach to an application.

Price My DocumentPassport translation, the questions we hear most
Do I need to translate my passport at all if the data page is already in English?
Often only the stamps, visas and notes need translating. If an office asked for a translation of the passport, we translate the data page and every page with entries and state which pages were blank.
How do you count the pages?
Each passport page with any text, stamp or sticker counts as one page. Blank pages are free, and the count is shown before you pay.
Which spelling of my name do you use?
The Latin spelling printed on the data page of your current passport. If an older passport spells it differently, the translation notes both.
Can you translate an expired passport?
Yes. Expired passports are often needed to show earlier travel or a maiden name, and the expiry date is translated as it appears.
How much does it cost and how fast is it?
From $23.70 per document, certification included. A data page with a few stamped pages is usually ready the next business day; the date is confirmed before you pay.
Twenty document types, two languages
Each document and each language has its own page with its own specifics and price. Something else? Upload it and we quote it by hand.
