What matters in this document

Many pages, priced by what is filled

A work record book can have thirty pages with entries on eight of them. We translate and charge the filled pages, keep the entry numbering and the order references, and describe every employer stamp.

Filled pages only

Blank spreads are listed as blank and not charged. The count is shown before you pay.

Every entry, in order

Hire, transfer, dismissal and the legal ground cited for each are translated in sequence with the entry number and the order date and number.

Employer stamps

Each stamp with the employer's name and details is translated or described, because the stamp is what proves the entry.

Company forms and titles

Legal forms such as LLC or JSC and job titles are translated literally, with the original abbreviation kept where it identifies the employer.

Which version do you have

Paper book or electronic record, both translated by the page

Employment records now exist in two forms: the paper work record book that followed you from job to job, and an electronic record kept by the state fund or the employer and printed on request. Either is translated entry by entry.

Paper work record book

Most people have this
  • A hard-cover booklet with numbered entries in table form and an employer stamp under each dismissal
  • Hire, transfer and dismissal entries with dates, order numbers and the legal ground; awards at the back
  • Every filled spread is translated in the same table layout, stamps included; blank spreads are listed
  • Asked for by USCIS in work-based cases, by licensing boards and by employers verifying experience

Photograph every spread, including the cover page with your name and the insert if you have one.

Electronic record printout

For recent employment
  • A printed table from the state fund or the employer, often with an electronic signature note or a QR code
  • The same hire, transfer and dismissal events with dates and order numbers, but no stamps
  • Each row is translated in place, with the signature note or QR text; the file says the original is electronic
  • Asked for when the paper book stopped being filled in and an office wants your latest employment

Send the PDF exactly as downloaded so the signature note stays readable.

The whole document, not just the fields

Every entry, every stamp, every page

Table mirrored column by column

The entry number, date, event and order reference columns are reproduced in the same order, so a reader can match each row to the original.

Handwriting and corrections

Entries are handwritten by different clerks over decades; each is translated as written, and corrected or crossed-out entries are described.

Cover page and name changes

The cover page with your name, date of birth and education is translated, and a surname change recorded on the cover is noted so the book matches your passport.

Dates in the US format

Every hire and dismissal date is converted to month-day-year and kept in the row where it appears.

Where it is accepted

One translation, accepted where you need to file

The same certified file works for immigration, courts, universities and employers. Say who it is for when you order and the certificate is worded for that office.

USCIS

Green card, citizenship and asylum filings. Certification statement on every page set.

Immigration courts

Same certified translation, laid out page by page so the clerk can compare it with the original.

Universities and WES / ECE

Admissions offices and credential evaluators get the certified English file with the original attached.

Employers and licensing boards

HR departments get the translation with the certificate, ready to attach to an application.

Questions answered

Work record book translation, the questions we hear most

How do you count the pages?

Each page spread with entries counts as one page; blank ones are free. Send photos of every spread and the count is confirmed before you pay.

Do you translate the insert too?

Yes. The insert continues the record and is counted by its filled pages in the same way.

Why does the dismissal entry cite an article of a labor code?

That is how dismissals are recorded; the article is the legal ground. It is translated literally so the reader sees whether you resigned, were transferred or were let go.

Will USCIS accept this translation?

It follows what USCIS asks for: the whole document in English plus a signed statement that the translator is competent and the translation is complete and accurate. Every order includes that statement, signed and dated by the translator.

How much does it cost and how fast is it?

From $23.70 per document, certification included. A book with six filled spreads is usually ready in two to three business days; the price is shown right after upload and the date is confirmed before you pay.
